Please see the information below about our recording session on May 7, 2021 from 3:00-8:00 pm at the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School campus. Uniform: CKMS BAND POLO SHIRT, students can wear whatever they want on the bottom but it must be appropriate. No short shorts, rips or inappropriate words/symbols. If their polo shirt no longer fits, please bring their old one and exchange for a new one. Large Instrument Players: Please bring their home instrument. They can use either their home instrument or in-school one, but they will be cleaning instruments during the following week so we want them to have it here on campus already. Bring with them: Instrument, Sheet Music, Band Polo, Pencil Social Distancing: Please make sure they are wearing their mask, wash their hands, and remain 6 feet apart at all times. This is for their safety. Masks may be removed when eating but students are only allowed to eat outside and should be at least 6 feet apart when doing so. Timeline: Report 3:00 to the Band Room in Uniform (Please do not wander around campus. Come straight to the band room. Drop their backpacks/instruments inside and head out to the stage.) 3:00-5:00 Rehearsal 5:00-5:15 Snack Break 5:15-6:15 Record 6:15-6:30 Clean-up 6:30-8:00 Dinner and Activities/Movie Pick-up is 8:00 in the Bus Terminal Make-up: This is our final exam. If a student does not participate, for whatever reason, the make=up is a playing test of the music with Ms. Tochiki. Please notify Ms. Tochiki via email if they will not be participating in our recording session.
