It includes the schedule and how to sign-up to volunteer. I asked the students to share this information with the parents but just in case they have not done so already:
Date is this FRIDAY, December 2 Report time to CKMS is 4:00 pm. If students want to stay after-school, they may but must stay in the band room. They are not allowed to wander around campus. If they are going to ASAP, they should stay there and then sign-out to go to the band room at 4:00 pm. Uniform: Black shoes, black socks, black pants, band polo, santa hat (or equivalent festive hat), decorations for your instrument (only scotch tape or painters tape, no packing, masking, or duct tape) Pick-up after the parade is at CKMS in the bus terminal. No one is allowed to go home from the end of the parade because of instrument cases and returning the lights. Parade Route Map Date: November 5, 2022
Report Time: 7:30 am to the CKMS Band Room Pick-up Time: About 10:30 am depending on where we are in the parade. Pick-up at CKMS. Uniform: Black Pants (NO JEANS, TIGHTS, OR FADED PANTS), Long Black Socks, Black Shoes, Band Polo Shirt Please drink a lot of water the night before to be hydrated. A small breakfast will be provided but you should also eat before you come. Students will be dropped off and picked up from CKMS. They will not be allowed to be picked up at the end of the parade or dropped off at the beginning of the parade. This is for their safety and to make sure the instruments are taken care of. Sarah Tochiki Honolulu Brass Quintet Professional Musicians Performance on Tuesday, May 17 After-School All CKMS Band students are invited to stay after-school on Tuesday, May 17 for a performance of professional musicians from the Honolulu Brass Quintet. These musicians also perform with the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra and are fantastic musicians. They will be playing for our band members. Parents can pick up their child at 3:00 pm, when the concert is done. Important Upcoming Dates:
